Check with 313 Staff if rooms are blocked for the next event!
We want to provide you with some helpful points to assist everyone in finding suitable lodging for your upcoming trip. Please take note of the following suggestions. Be aware that 313 Room Blocks may or may not be available for some events
Visit the tournament website: Go directly to the tournament's official website and look for the contact information provided. You can find the 800 number or emails of the service used by the event. They can offer assistance in locating suitable accommodations.
Explore web-based platforms: Utilize popular web-based platforms such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Kayak, and others. These platforms allow you to compare prices, read reviews, and book accommodations that meet your specific needs. VRBO has had great reviews by families in the past.
Consider adjacent cities: If you're open to a slightly longer commute, consider staying in adjacent cities. Sometimes, a 30-40 minute drive can save you hundreds of dollars on lodging expenses. Keep in mind that this option might require some additional planning and flexibility.
Hotel block expiration: Please note that all hotel blocks typically expire 48 hours prior to the event. Other teams attending tend to overbook, resulting in the release of a multitude of rooms. As a result, it's not uncommon for families to drive to events on the first day and book rooms on the same day. This approach can be beneficial for those who prefer a more spontaneous arrangement.
Reach out for assistance: If your child needs a ride or a room, don't hesitate to reach out for support. Many families within our community are willing to share rides or accommodations, making it a more cost-effective and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Please feel free to connect with us, and we'll do our best to help you.
We hope these points will be helpful in your search for suitable lodging. If you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us. Have a fantastic trip and enjoy the tournament!
Team up with a teammate for a Road Trip!
At 313 Travel Lacrosse, we believe that every player deserves the opportunity to compete and experience team travel, regardless of transportation or lodging challenges. Our Travel Aid Program is designed to ensure that no player is ever left behind.
Program Highlights:
Transportation Support: For players who are young drivers or need assistance traveling to tournaments, we organize a convoy system with adult chaperones. This ensures safe, supervised travel for all participants.
Ride Share: For players who's parents may not be attending, we can secure a ride, with and adult or staff member to and from all travel events.
Room Assignments: Players who may not have accommodation arranged are never left without a place to stay. We assign team-approved room shares with teammates, supervised by an adult chaperone when necessary.
Adult Supervision: Our program guarantees that every player traveling with the team is under proper adult supervision, prioritizing safety and peace of mind for families.
Inclusivity: The Travel Aid Program is available to all players, ensuring equal access to tournaments and team events regardless of logistical challenges.
At 313 Travel Lacrosse, we are committed to team unity, safety, and inclusivity. Our Travel Aid Program removes barriers so that every player can fully participate and enjoy the experience of competitive lacrosse.
