What is the Turkey Shoot Tournament?
A Fall lacrosse recruiting tournament held in Ithaca NY.How many college coaches will attend this event?
Each year coaches from many NCAA D1, D2, and D3 schools attended. This event is an important Fall Recruiting Event. Notables such as Albany, Syracuse, NYIT, and many other high profile lacrosse colleges will be represented.Is travel and lodging provided?
Yes. The team will travel in a 29 passenger team coach provided by Indian Trails. Player will be put up 2 nights in Ithaca at a premium hotel that features a free breakfast and clean comfortable room. (courtyard by Marriot or simular). Team lunch on travel day and team dinner day one in the evening are included.Who will be supervising this event?
Coach B, (Ken Brubaker) will be Head Coach and will travel to and from the event with the team. He will ride the team bus and will also stay on site with the in NY. He is a currently on the coaching staff at Western Michigan University, the Director at 313 Lacrosse and has been involved with lacrosse in Michigan for over a decade. What is the Michigan team name?
The fall team is called “313 Lax Club Varsity" . This event is open to ALL Michigan or N Ohio Varsity Lacrosse Players. If we have not seen you play, contact your HS Lacrosse or club coach to get us a recommendation. Players will make the team via invitation or via tryouts if necessary.What is the team philosophy?
313 Lax focuses on sportsmanship, building new friendships, building lacrosse skills, honoring the game, and most importantly getting mplayers some college recruiting exposure.When does everything happen?
Travel day will require a school day off. Friday in early November.The Turkey Shoot games are played on Saturday and Sunday in early November.
Schedules should be posted in early October.
How many games are there?
2 full days – 8 games guaranteed – 10 v 10 – top competition primarily from NY and Canada.
What is the Cost?
2012 dues will include 2 fall events and will be around $500.

TEAM TRANSPORTATION via to and from Ithaca, NY provided by INDIAN TRAILS TEAM BUS.
Two Full Time Senior level coaches at ALL events.
Players fully chaperoned during all travel and hotel stay including curfew and bed check.
A 50% deposit will be required by October 1st, 2011 The balance is due by Nov 10th, 2011.
A 24 PLAYER roster will be formed by October 1st - Players are selected by invitation and tryouts. Dates for tryouts TBA.
10 Mids, 5 Attack, 5 Defense, 2 LSM, 2 Goalies

2011 players receive use of BRAND NEW custom sublimated shorts and jerseys, plus use of a custom logo’d 313 Lax Club Helmet. (cascade CPX)Uniforms can be returned or purchased for cost.
